This bucket is for rock, gem, and mineral societies that publish a first-party meeting or membership page. A listing belongs here when the organization exists to gather cutters and collectors — not to sell finished jewelry or run a fee-based open shop as its primary offering. Facebook-only groups, show vendors without a meeting page, and pure Facebook Events are out.

How this catalog is curated

Club entries quote what the society printed, on a check date, from its own site. We do not invent meeting times from social posts or third-party calendars. Wave 1 research is in progress; this index stays published so crawlers see a real category page, not a stub. Entries appear as first-party Markdown is added to the collection.
