What it is

The Everett Rock and Gem Club (ERGC) is a membership rock, gem, mineral and lapidary club in Everett, Washington. Its About page quotes Article II of the club constitution: the club’s objective is “to bring together persons who have chosen, as their hobby, the collection of rocks, fossils, minerals and gemstones, the practice of lapidary art, jewelry making, and to encourage members in the pursuit of their hobby and the study of related earth science.” It is affiliated with the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS), the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies (NFMS), the Washington State Mineral Council, the American Lands Access Association and SCRIBE.

Who it’s for

Rockhounds, cabochon cutters, tumblers, jewelry makers, juniors and families in Everett and Snohomish County who want monthly meetings, member classes, field trips and an annual show. Juniors under 18 can join with an adult member.

Why it’s listed

It’s an established membership club with its own website (not Facebook-only). The site lists a fixed public meeting place and time, printed dues and a lapidary-focused class list (cabbing raw rock to finished cabochons, sphere making, inlays, rock polishing). It also lists a dated 2026 annual show. It is Washington’s first club listing on Lapidary Plaza.
