What it is

Twin Cities Maker Lapidary 101 is a short, hands-on introductory lapidary class at a nonprofit makerspace in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The class page says “Lapidary 101 is an introductory course that will familiarize you to the lapidary equipment and techniques for working with stones,” and calls it “a skills-focused course to get you comfortable with each of the tools available in the space.”

Who it’s for

Beginners in the Twin Cities who want to learn to slab and cab stone (no experience required), and makerspace members who want to use the lapidary shop on their own afterward.

Why it’s listed

It’s a first-party class with dated sessions, a stated length, published fees, a named instructor and a list of equipment covered, booked through the makerspace’s own registration system. This listing covers the lapidary class, not the whole makerspace.
